Saturday 15th August saw thirteen Toppers competing on the Marine Lake, Southport. Perfect conditions greeted the boats, with an awesome combination of sun and a strong south westerly.

The first race started on time with a simple course. After a few battles throughout the fleet, Rebecca Barry from Chester emerged as the winner. A superb lunch was then provided by the Ladies in the galley and was enjoyed by all before the next race started. The second race concluded with Rebecca Barry getting a second bullet. With the wind building the third race kept the same course, Sam Cooper battled through the fleet from fourth to win the race.

Well done to Rebecca Barry for winning overall and thank you to Tim Harper Boats for sponsoring the event.
