Sportsboat Gold Cup at the Torbay Royal Regatta

The first ever UK Sportsboat Championship for the 'Sportsboat Gold Cup' are to be held in Torbay in August 2015 as part of Torbay Royal Regatta.

This event is open to boats who meet the criteria set out in the Torbay Royal Regatta Notice of Race. The criteria has been developed in conjunction with the RORC rating office and basically this includes boats under 10.1 metres overall with a SSS number of 4.9 or above. All boats will be required to hold a valid IRC Certificate or IRC Single Event rating

Boats already showing interest are J70, J88, SB20, Viper 640 and VX One.

This is a great opportunity to bring various classes together in a similar way to that enjoyed on the current Australian Sportsboat Scene and at the HPD Regatta held annually in Long Island Sound.
