Skipper Sam Davies reflects on the race so far, and what it means for the future.

For Team SCA and the other teams, the Volvo Ocean Race will be completed within the next six weeks - a third of the race in the time it took to complete the first two Legs. The phrase 'blink or you will miss it' has never been so true, for Team SCA the commencement of the shorter legs brings excitement, and the desire that the practice, training and learnings from the past six Legs will make them competitive. "It does finally feel like we're showing what we are learning," commented skipper Sam Davies. "We've learnt so much, but learning is a long process and we're only a small way through that big learning curve."
