NEW for 2015 - Leda will have a higher quality of accommodation, the new RS AERO, the same great windsurf kit, guided mountain biking, and the same great staff and tuition. It is an RYA Training Centre offering 5 days free tuition (3 hrs a day).
With awards for beach cleanliness and magnificently clear waters it is unsurprising that Sailors and Windsurfers enjoy the region's warm and reliable winds and find it a perfect sailing area. Sailors will enjoy a beautiful and expansive sailing area dotted with islands to moor up to and explore. Kayers and SUP'ers will also love the calm morning waters and array of coves to visit.
Overview
The Pelion peninsula is one of the most naturally beautiful regions in all of Greece with breath taking views over the Pagestic Gulf. Typically Greek and traditional, Pelion offers a wonderful holiday experience with pretty villages, lots of culture, biking, walking and water sports that will tick all your boxes!
Watersports & Activities
Our beach and water sports centre is fully equipped with a fleet of Lasers and Picos, with some Performance Boats and Cats. The Leda Whether you are newbie to sailing or windsurfing, or you just require a refresher or more advanced tuition such as Spinnaker handling or Race tips then rest assure - we offer it all!
Relaxation
Enjoy the beautiful grounds of our Leda Beach Club, lush in vegetation which wind their way down to a secluded beach providing safe and exclusive relaxation and family fun in gently shelving, crystal clear waters. Enjoy our Yoga house, or maybe a game of crazy golf, a sauna and a swim or kayaking around calm waters while your little 'uns are in Kids Club. Step further afield and visit the many amazing cultural sites, other secluded beaches and Greek villages.
Walking, Hiking, Biking
The Pelion peninsula boasts 250kms of paths and roads and is a mountainous region - thus a mecca for hikers and bikers with its tall pine forests, olive groves, coastal tracks and Pelion Mountains. There are many beautiful walks and trails to enjoy in the local area.
Wander or cycle into Horto for a look around the museum of Aggelimis, or head farther afield to the ruins of the ancient city of Olizonor. Head out on foot or by bike to explore the hills and find some of the old churches that are dotted across the landscape, or visit one of the neighbouring towns such as Argalasti to have a look at the markets and stock up on souvenirs, or just pop over to Horto village for an ice cream!
