IRC Solent Region Championship 2014 Days 6 and 7 - Preview

Organised by the Island Sailing Club on Saturday 27th September 2014 and the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club on Sunday 28th September 2014.

The IRC Solent Region Championship comprises seven days of racing throughout the summer, each organised by a different Solent club.

Day 6 is the final race of the ISC's Inshore Series, a race from Cowes to the Nab Tower and back to Cowes. The first warning signal is 09.55.

All are welcome back to the Club afterwards, the Prize Giving will be at 18.00 and the bar will be open!

Day 7 is the Tiny Mitchell Trophy race organised by the Royal Corinthian YC. There will be a Committee boat start in the central Solent for an "around the cans" race. The first warning signal is 10.15.

Everyone is welcome back to the Club after racing, but the Prize Giving is on Saturday 1st November, 2014

Entries via the SIRCOA web site are welcome from boats with an IRC rating of between 0.82 and 1.360 and close on Friday 26th September.

Entry fees are as follows:

  • TCF 1.000 or above - £40 per da
  • TCF 0.999 or lower - £35 per day
