Team Kearns Burns won the Texel Dutch Open in convincing style with a final winning margin of 7 points.

Team Kearns Burns lead after the first day which was a light wind day after scoring two 2nds to lead from second place by 6 points. Day two was slightly windier and onc again Kearns and Burns stayed consistent to end the day with two 3rds to lead overall by 11 points from second with third a further 11 points behind second.
The third day was a lot breezier and lumpier with the north sea living up to its reputation.
The first race saw Kearns and Burns strugling after the start but after that pulling back places left right and centre and managed to pull themselves back upto 8th by the finish.
As Kearns and Burns were lining up for the last start they were rammed by a Tornado and had to retire but were awarded average points. Kearns and Burns had won the Texel Dutch Open with a race to spare.
