This coming Saturday (17th of May) sees the third round of the 2014 Lightning368 Grand Prix series at Broxbourne Sailing Club.
Following the recent driftathon that was Oxford, the current forecast is for fine and bright weather with a nice Lightning-friendly breeze, so it looks all set for a nice competitive day.
After coming so close to his maiden event win, Alex Baxter will be praying for a full race schedule to make sure of another good result this time out, whilst current series leader Richard Palmer could also really cement himself as this year's one-to-beat with victory here.
Simon Hopkins is always there or thereabouts, even in his unfavoured light winds, with son Matt Hopkins desperately in need of a good result following a string of breakages so far this year.
Broxbourne SC is easy to get to, being down in the Lea Valley, not far off the M25.
Come on down - racing can be viewed from the clubhouse, with first race scheduled for around 11am.
