Sigma 38 class launches new website

by Susan Rainger 22 Apr 2014 21:14 BST 22 April 2014

The Sigma Class Association is delighted to present it's new website that has two simple aims - to enable members to get more out of their Sigma 38 and to enthuse and inspire others about Sigma 38s! The strong visual format graphically demonstrates the strength of the class which consistently fields one of the largest one design racing fleets in the UK. The enduring appeal of the classic Sigma 38 yacht and the identity of the class community is epitomised by the new site.

Through increased functionality the association will be able to improve support and communication to it's members. With links to social networking and convenient member access information will be more easily shared. The outstanding photography by Paul Wyeth and clean, modern look of the site designed by Boxstuff will present the Sigma 38 as the yacht of choice to prospective buyers, potential crew, the wider sailing community and possible sponsors or advertisers.

Chairman Rob Lee explains "we have always known the website is our key communication tool but felt the old site didn't demonstrate the exciting, competitive one design racing within the Sigma 38 Class that makes the yacht a force to be reckoned with. We want the new website to make people sit up and realise what a fantastic class this is to be part of!"

So the Sigma 38 Class Association is sailing into the future with a new image that genuinely represents it's influential position on the yachting scene.
