Enjoy The Sunshine This Easter!
With the weather warming up the time couldn't be better to get out on the water. If you're sailing an event, club racing or just enjoying the weather around your nearest water park P&B have an extensive range of products to keep you happy in, on and around the water. With many of the P&B team sailing over Easter whether locally or further afield there will be plenty of summer sailing kit packed for this weekend. Some of our favourites include the NEW Gul Riva Rash Vest, New Henri Lloyd Fast Dry Crew Cap, Gill Impact Shorts, Gul Quick Dry Towel, Gul Strapped Power Slipper, Gill Hurakan Shorti and P&B Buoyancy Aid.
As the famous 80's weather presenter Michael Fish can testify the UK weather does not always live up to the forecast; although we're not saying there will be hurricanes P&B also have a broad range of Drysuits, Winter Wetsuits and Thermals for the less trusting of us!
In short P&B can cater for all forecasts so if you're looking for something specific or just seeking some product advice please get in touch with us on 01604 592808.
Seeing Is Believing with Gill!
All Gill sunglasses are floatable, so if you drop them, all is not lost. They feature hydrophobic and eleophobic coatings to repel and shed water, salt residue and oils. Gill sunglasses are a popular bit of kit with the P&B team and have featured in our 'Kit of the Week' more than once. Offering a variety of styles and colours to suit you the technical specification of these glasses makes them great for racing. The polarised lenses provide excellent UV protection and give you great visuals of the water surface allowing you to see wind shifts and stay ahead of your opponents.
KIT of the WEEK!
Each week one of the P&B team will be looking into their kit bag and giving us an item that they simply wouldn't sail without!
Last week saw a new arrival to the P&B fleet in the form of Flying 15 (3465). Based out of Notts County SC and sailed by P&B's Andy Farmer it has already seen the water following a week of tweaking, tidying and tuning. With many sailors getting their boats ready for a summer of sailing Andy's 'Kit of the Week' is the Loos Rig Tension Gauge. Whether your boat is new or old it's essential that you get the most out of your rig set up, the Loos Rig Tension Gauge is a vital tool in the tuning process and every sailor needs one in their tool kit.
With a team full of experienced sailors and a catalogue of handy tuning guides available on-line P&B are a great point of reference for anyone looking to tune their boat. If your looking for some advice then contact one of our boat experts on 01604 592808.
