Announcing the 2014 IRC Solent Region Championship

Seven days of close racing with seven top Solent clubs in the 2014 Solent Region Championship. Spanning the full length of the Solent from the Nab Tower race in the East to the Royal Solent Regatta off Yarmouth, this series aims to encourage larger fleets of IRC-rated yachts in a wide range of competitive racing. Post-race hospitality at each host club provides the opportunity to experience the unique atmosphere of each, as well as socialising with your fellow competitors.

  • Saturday 31 May - Royal Southampton Yacht Club
  • Saturday 28 June - Portsmouth Sailing Club
  • Saturday 12 July - Royal Southern Yacht Club
  • Saturday 26 July - Royal Solent Yacht Club
  • Saturday 13 September - Royal Air Force Yacht Club
  • Saturday 27 September - Island Sailing Club
  • Sunday 28 September - Royal Corinthian Yacht Club
The Series is open to all IRC boats with a TCC between 0.820 and 1.360. Best five results to count. Boats can enter any combination of individual events or the whole series.

Fees for entry via SIRCOA:

  • TCF 1.000 or above - £40 per race or £240 for the whole series.
  • TCF 0.999 or lower - £35 per race or £210 for the whole series.
