CraftInsure Topper 5.3 National Series 2 at Queen Mary – 5/6 April 2014

After the excellent Topper results in the Bloody Mary earlier this year, where the Toppers beat the Moths in the fleet results, the Toppers are returning to Queen Mary Sailing Club for the second event in the CraftInsure Topper 5.3 series for 2014.

With over 140 boats already entered, space is still available for late entries – which will close online on Thursday.

Entries in the day will be accepted subject to the prevailing conditions and cannot be guaranteed.

Our series leaders going into the first inland event in the 2014 CraftInsure series are:

  • Calum Rosie (Helensburgh Sailing Club) – 1st Overall & 1st Male
  • Lucy Mearns (RBA) – 1st Youth & 1st Female
15 Youths are already registered to race for podium places in the Youth series results at Queen Mary and the 2014 National Championships in Pwllheli will include a Topper Youth Champion trophy.

Local chandler, Virtual Rigger is providing onsite support to the fleet and local photographer, Sportography will be afloat to capture the action on Saturday.
