Looking for a Sailing Wetsuit?

by Lauren Porter, Gul Watersports 18 Mar 2014 07:52 GMT 18 March 2014

Gul, the UK's leading Watersports Company probably have an answer

Gul has spent a huge amount of time researching and developing the current sailing specific Profile range. Refining the Gul Profile line into the ultimate sailing wetsuits.

As in many areas of life, one product cannot achieve alone all performance needs. Therefore we have developed the line into three separate areas to suit 3 different styles of sailors, both male and female.

The whole Profile range has many common features; extended Powertex knee and shin pads, more comfortable and harder wearing, Dura-Tex reinforced seat area increases durability. The strategic use of X-Flex super stretch neoprene in the flex zones add to your everyday comfort.

  • Traditional back zip: The Profile suit that's anything but traditional, many up market features like being Blindstitched and Liquid seamed for 100% water seal, and a seal that stops water penetrating the suit via the zip.

  • Chest Zip: Profile CZ for all the skiff sailors and trapeze crews, the absence of a traditional zip greatly increases the stretch ability in the back of the suit making it much more comfortable when on the side in a semi crouched position.

  • Front Zip: Profile FZ ideal for the more casual sailor, the zip on the front allows easy donning and removal of the suit.

Last but not least all the 2014 Profile range are compatible with the new Gul Windward Hike Pads.
