Two new Osprey 2014 regional circuits to supplement the national fixtures

by Alan Henderson 17 Mar 2014 09:42 GMT 17 March 2014

At the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show, the Osprey class announced two new class racing circuits for the class, and unveiled its 2014 National circuit.

The two regional circuits aim to give sailors an easy introduction to regatta sailing, with much less travel needed, cutting costs and time required, and smaller fleets to reduce the fear factor for newcomers to regatta racing. They will also give the chance to get to know other Osprey sailors, and get any advice required about your boat.

As well these two new regional series, there is the National series, for the Wilkinson Sword Trophy. That circuit starts in just a fortnight's time, at the Exmoor Beastie. Both regional circuits start in May.
