RC Laser Winter Series at West Lancashire Yacht Club - Day 2

by Andrew Kissick 17 Jan 2014 14:26 GMT 19 January 2014

After the very good entry for the first of the West Lancs Winter Series for RC Lasers and RG65 Dragon Force, it is time to remind skippers that day two of the 6 day series is this Sunday, 19th January.

With a remarkable 26 boats for day one, you will remember that the weather was not good, interest has spread further with skippers expected from Manor Park, Potteries, South Caernarfon, Wigan and maybe South Manchester, as well as those who competed last time This will mean between 8 and 10 clubs being represented. Not bad for model boats in mid winter!

The close racing, friendly atmosphere, generosity of the experienced skippers, along with the excellent facilities and inexpensive lunch make this series well worth the effort to attend.

For those who do not have boats, but would like to have a go, you will be most welcome. There are skippers willing to lend, as well as a few spare boats.

A report on the racing will be filed on this website after the event.
