Hill Head Sailing Club nestled at a small harbour on the Solent between Portsmouth and Southampton has its inaugural OPEN winter series starting this Sunday 5th January at 12.30 with 2 races back to back. With small and large handicap starts, a range of classes from nearby clubs have already joined in with an impromptu series.

The club has a range of classes with a big fleet of Lasers with mixed ages and abilities, the club has an active junior section and single and double handers are supported, everyone is welcome and a warm welcome assured.

This is a five event series with racing also on Jan 19th midday, Feb 2nd 12pm, 15th 11.30am, March 2nd 11.30am. £30 for series and includes boat storage for the duration or £7.50 per event.

Annual SLOSHH Race at Seafarers Sailing Club
Returning to the calendar after a two year absence After a two year absence, the annual SLOSHH Race was held. There was a 20-22 knot South Westerly with typical Solent chop. 24 boats came to the start and the Race Officer, Phil Warwick, managed to keep the fleet in check and started at 2pm.
