Farr 3.7 breaks the mould

It’s ok, the mould is fine, we just thought it was an eye catching headline!

The demo boat is progressing nicely. Currently weighing only 28kg. And this is with the boat built to Bruce Farr’s traditional plywood design as well as over-specifying the hull skin thickness from what Bruce suggested.

Imagine what a composite boat is going to weigh!

So things are progressing nicely on target for the RYA Dinghy Show 2014.

Right now we want to know what colour you think the boat should be. We just can’t decide. Cool and Classic (Antique Cream with Sapele inlays), or Crazy and Lurid.

What do you think best suits this boat? Jump in on the discussion and have your say!
