Laser South Coast Grand Prix 2013 Series - Overall

The Laser South Coast Grand Prix series consisted of thirteen events across the South Coast of England. To encourage competitors to travel to more events there were six events to count.
In the standard fleet eight competitors managed to complete in enough events. Ian Morgan (Hill Head) took victory with six wins. Jim Fifield (Queen Mary) was second, and Peter May (Spinnaker) was third overall and first Master. The Radial fleet saw four boats qualify with Ross Mackley (Royal Lymington) first. Kerry Morgan and crew (Hill Head) second overall and first Lady. Alexander Lee (Arun) third. Series prize giving was at Chichester Yacht Club, Deirdre Jeavons presenting the prizes.
All the competitors would like to thank the participating clubs for their hard working organising each event and giving us some great sailing. We would also like to thank Rooster Sailing for their sponsorship and support, by providing all the qualifiers with great prizes from DVD's to Hiking Shorts. The qualifying competitors are also entered into a national draw for a Wildwind Sailing Holiday. The draw takes place at the Laser Inlands.
