The Italian Moth class is supporting a campaign in favour of the cultural and amateur sports association "Acque Libere". The aim of the association is to help people with different levels and types of disability try activities that use the natural environment, in total security and integration with non-disabled persons.

In particular, the Association aims to create the conditions that guarantee everyone the opportunity to participate in sports and water activities. People with disabilities, their families and their friends should be able to live immersive and challenging experiences, even from the physical point of view, being able to count on the complete safety and reliability of the context.

"Acque Libere" has set as its first objective the creation of a Nautical Base in La Maddalena, Sardinia, and will purchase 2.4mR keelboats, as used for Paralympic sailing. The class is one of the best examples of integration; racing is open to men, women, disabled, able-bodied all in one category at events.

The Italian Moth class supports Acque Libere in achieving this first purchase. During the next Italian championship (13-15 September at Campione del Garda) they will organize a dinner whose proceeds will be donated to the association. The championship participants will be guests of Velocitek Italia and Cantina Chiara Ziliani.

Campione Univela Hostel, IMCA Italy and Stefano Rizzi offer, by auction, a weekend of intensive training and coaching FACE2FACE. Stefano Rizzi, one of the best Italian sailors and Mothies, will provide for a whole weekend his overwhelming charisma and his experience to the lucky who want to offer the highest amount. The full amount of the auction will be donated to Acque Libere.

Campione Univela Hostel and IMCA Italy offer by auction two courses LEARN2FLY. Two days full immersion to learn to "fly" on the Moth. The coach will bring the students of the course to incredible level of confidence with the foiling boat and with the extraordinary speed. The full amount of the auction will be donated to Acque Libere.
