With the current abundance of great weather in Europe it's nice to see so many people out on the water making the best of it. Members of the Allen sailing team have been getting in plenty of time on the water revelling in the conditions.
Current European champion International Moth sailor Chris Rashley recently had a strong showing at the International Moth UK National Championships with a 2nd at Castle Cove showing his continual strong form in the fleet. Chris came up to Allen's UK based factory recently with his Moth to both talk through the latest developments in the class and see the latest developments at Allen Brothers.
One of the major areas of consideration and development with the International moth was the high loads on the vang. Working with Chris, the new A2030HL blocks were specifically designed for providing maximum performance under high dynamic loads. These have proven to be more than capable of taking the punishment and now provide the best combination of strength and reduced friction.
