Entry is now open for the Dubarry Women's Open Keelboat Championship 2013. The event will be hosted by Hamble River Sailing Club on 7th-8th September. The weekend includes two full days of racing which take place in the one design J80 class and an IRC class with a recommended rating of 0.880-1.090. Teams can enter on the club website at www.hambleriversc.org.uk/calendar/wokc. Alternatively, entries can be taken over the phone by calling the club on 02380 452070.
The club and organisers are pleased to be able to confirm that entry remains at the same price as last year. Early entry fee is set at £75 per boat and is available until 17:00 on Friday 23rd August. After this a standard entry fee of £90 per boat will apply.
Not to be missed will be the infamous Frocks & Flipflops party on Saturday 7th of September, and tickets for this are also now available from the Hamble River Sailing Club website. The party will start at 6.30pm and is priced at £15 per person, including a glass of bubbly on arrival and a hog roast dinner. The evening features a superb raffle in aide of charity partners Breast Cancer Care & Hamble Lifeboat.
