This weekend, 8th & 9th June, sees the Scorpions heading to the sunny South coast to test the waters for this year's Nationals venue at Sidmouth Sailing Club. Sidmouth is famous for its outstanding sea sailing conditions and with a hot and sunny forecast we should get a sea breeze.

Registration opens from 9.00 with race one scheduled for a leisurely 2.00pm start it is well worth the trip to gain some local knowledge and test your boat speed against the in form teams in preparation for the big event.

The Scorpion Nationals will take place from the 17-23 August. The location of the clubhouse overlooking the beach provides a great location for family and friends to spend the day whilst the competitors race out at sea. It also benefits from being immediately adjacent to both the boat park and the launching and landing spot for the boats.

In the evening we have a schedule of events including the traditional fancy dress night and, for those of you that fancy a boogie, there is the legendary Karinas nightclub! The cheap early entry deadline is looming soon so please visit the Scorpion class website and get your entry in now!
