Two weeks until the Etchells Worlds at Cala De'Medici Yacht Club, Italy

TWO WEEKS TO THE ETCHELLS WORLD 2013

Two weeks from the beginning, participants are more than forty for the Etchells World, event organized by Cala De'Medici Yacht Club in collaboration with the Italian Etchells Class Association.

The first world class championship, class spread throughout the World, and sailed for the first time in a non Anglo-Saxon country, will see cross the starting line teams coming from Australia, Bahamas, Bermuda, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Netherland, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland, UK, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, and USA.

Participating crews are already expected in Marina Cala De'Medici, port which will host the event already from the first days of June, when will be raced the Italian Class Championship.

In participating fleet are also two Italian crews headed respectively by Otto Cimarosti and Roberto Pardini, in competition also the Class World Champion 2004, the Australian Peter McNeill.

The Etchells World Championship 2013 will begin officially on 8th June 2013, with the opening ceremony in Marina Cala de Medici's "Piazzetta" with the welcome speach of the YCCM president Antonio Ciapparelli and with the presence of the authorities. Conclusion on 15th June 2013.
