We currently have two vacancies available at Gul, Please see below for details:

Graphic Designer – Web and Print Apparel

Gul is the UK's leading water sports brand and we are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join its team in the heart of Cornwall. We have been at the forefront of surfing and sailing for over 40 years and we are looking for a person with passion and dedication as we develop our product offering.

Working with our Senior Product Designer you will need to have the following skill set:

  • Experience of using Apple Mac hardware and Adobe Creative Suite software:
  • Illustrator - to expert level
  • Photoshop - to expert level
  • InDesign - to intermediate level
  • Web Knowledge: CSS, HTML, Javascript etc.
  • Photography capability for product shoots
  • Website and social media maintenance skills
  • Knowledge of graphics on surfing and sailing apparel products
  • Love working within a small team and have a great eye for detail
We would prefer someone who has 6-12 months experience but we would consider the right person with no previous employment experience. A salary of £17,000 to £20,000 awaits the successful candidate.

Customer Sales Administrator

For over 40 years Gul has been the UK's leading watersports brand. Throughout this time we have been at the forefront of development in sporting apparel and associated equipment. Our philosophy is simple – to make the best apparel possible and to supports our sports at every level.

We urgently require an ambitious and committed person to join our sales team at our Cornish headquarters in Bodmin.

Working with our sales team you will possess the following skill set:

  • A knowledge and interest in all watersports, particularly surfing and sailing.
  • A keen aptitude for sales with good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • A high attention for detail and can work as part of a busy and growing team.
  • Good numeracy and IT capability including Word and Excel.
  • Able to adapt to change, be flexible with a primary focus on sales. This will involve our existing database and also seeking out new customers to grow our business in the years ahead.
You will receive all training and support as necessary to execute your role. This is a permanent position.
