Computer Aided Design
The system we use is the most complete and versatile sail design and optimization software available. This software allows us to see changes in the cut and fibre layout using aero-elastic analysis. From feedback on and off the water we are able to make more accurate changes which ultimatly result in a faster more versatile sail. |
D4® Fibre Paths
Our D4® sails are lighter, more durable and predictable than traditional sails. We determine the D4® fibre layout using our experience and computer aided design software. The resulting complex layout absorbs the dynamic loads when sailing so that as loads and trim vary, the sail shape remains within the limits intended. |
Precision Finishing
Each of our sails are cut individually with repeatable pinpoint accuracy, this ensures the final cut and shape is precisely how we intended. Each sail goes through strict quality and control measures before being delivered to you with a bespoke tuning guide to help you win each and every time. |

GP14 Sail Re-design
Our new genoa works perfectly with the new more powerfull mainsail, the resulting airflow over the two sails is faster and provides excellent pointing ability. Our redesigned spinnaker also has more power, giving you the best all round GP14 sails on and off the wind. |
Phantom Sails for CST Mast
Andy Wilde, using the Phantom CST mast has had a very successful season. In 2012 we developed a Phantom main specificly for this new mast looking at bend characteristics and profile to produce a faster combination. |
Fireball, 505, Merlin D4®
We introduced our next generation D4® sails for 2012 in the Fireball, 505 and Merlin classes. The new D4® sails have been developed to be extremely smooth, durable and long lasting which means they perform consistantly over a wide range of conditions. |

Optimist Cross Cut Sail
Over the years we have developed the fastest, state of the art Optimist sails in the UK. This year to augment our range of sails we introduced a new cross cut sail design which has more power, is easier to trim and has proved fast upwind and down. We now have a range of sails to suit the weights and abilities of all Optimist sailors. |
Weathermax Covers
This year saw the introduction of a new cover material. Weathermax Covers combine breakthrough UV technology with water resistance, breathability and durability. This results in a cover which not only keeps the water out but also one which will not rot or fade. |
Keel / Day Boat Sails
This year we have developed sails for boats such as Ajax, Shrimper, Falcon, and Salcombe Yawl. Our sails have dominated with wins in all of these classes including the Ajax Nationals, Salcombe Yawl Nationals and 1st for P&B's Dave Wade at Camel Week in the Shrimper class. |
