Régate XOD at the Yacht Club du Crouesty Arzon - Day 3

by Robert Jardine 4 Sep 2012 10:36 BST 1-4 September 2012

Racing on Monday started in the afternoon in fairly light winds. The fleet pushed hard at the start with 4 boats OCS including Lone Star, Lara and Beatrix. This enabled Delight to get away and claw back points.

Race six started well with very close racing. Lone Star managed to round the final leeward first. With the fleet separating on the beat Lone Star took the middle track. The clouds returned killing the sea breeze resulting in a 90 degree shift to the right allowing Lara and Beatrix to reach into the finish to take first and second respectively with Lone Star dropping to 4th.

All is still very close going into the final day.

Results after Day 3: (six races, 1 discard)
