Sunday started with a postponement due to the lack of wind in the Bay of Quiberon with all boats remaining on the dock. For many this was a great opportunity to discuss the boats, compare winning features and musing about future class changes.

At 1300hrs the AP was taken down and the fleet slipped mooring and headed out in line astern. With a wind of at least 10 knots, the committee quickly set the course and racing was underway.

Lone Star quickly established a lead in the first race of the day with William Norris second followed by Lara and Delight in close pursuit. Places once established remained the same to the finish.

The second race followed exactly the same format with once again Lone Star gaining a significant lead and William Norris securing second in front of Lara and Delight.

The club laid on a fabulous buffet in the evening with a very imaginative centrepiece in the shape of a pheasant. A great night had by all and we even got a fly past by a local celebrity!

5th Foxy, Mark Hall
6th Calypso, John Harding
