Entry for the 2nd annual Bosham Classic Boat Revival on 22nd & 23rd September 2012 is now open.

In only its second year, this unique event is expected to attract classic racing dinghies and dayboats from all over the UK, and continue to play a key role in revitalising dinghy racing for some of the 'older' boats in the established, much loved classes.

Providing a fun, competitive environment for dinghies and dayboats that may not be in the first flush of youth, this years event is already well on target to beat last year's entry of 50 boats.

With pre-registered enquiries from nearly 30 different classes already it is hoped to attract 505, Albacore, Devon/Salcombe Yawls, Firefly, Fairy Falcon, Graduate, GP14, Hornet, International Canoe, International 14, Jollyboat, Merlin Rocket, Moth, National 12, National 18, Chichester Harbour 18, Osprey, Redwing, Scow, Snipe, Sharpie, Solo, Tideway, Torbay Minnow, YW Dayboat, and other similar 'classic' dinghy classes with a maximum length of 20 feet.

There will be five races over the two days for fast, medium and slow handicap fleets with committee boat starts in Chichester Harbour. There will also be a hotly contested Concours D'Elegance award where a wonderful range of classic wooden racing dinghies will be on display.

To ensure the atmosphere is maintained ashore the parties revolve around live music each evening and to keep costs down club members will be offering some free accommodation for visiting crews.
