Insurance4dinghies sponsor Hurricane nationals

by Francesca Breeze 21 Aug 2012 09:47 BST 27-30 September 2012

Dinghy insurance provider insurance4dinghies is a main sponsor of this year's Hurricane 5.9 Nationals at Brightlingsea Sailing Club, Essex, from 27 – 30 September.

The event, celebrating its 25th anniversary, is being held in Essex in homage to the craft's designer, builder and local/Olympian sailor Reg White.

Participants from across the UK and Ireland will compete for a range of trophies including those to recognise; helm and crew winners, the best newcomer, best club and highest combined age. The open meeting will also pair up experts with novices in a Pro-Am competition.

In keeping with its philosophy to support the communities it insures, Insurance4dinghies' Sales Director, John Tuckwell, will be competing. He comments; "As well as being insurance providers, we're passionate about sailing so will endeavour to support events and participate where we can." John is a Bala Catamaran Club member.
