Lots in store from the exhibitors at the RYA Volvo Dinghy Show 2012

Over the weekend of 3-4 March the RYA Volvo Dinghy Show 2012 at Alexandra Palace, London, will play host to over 200 exhibitors from sailing clubs, classes and associations to commercial businesses who will fill the exhibition halls with everything you need to get started or improve your sailing.

If it is new kit you’re in search of then pay a visit to Crewsaver (D12), who will be showcasing their brand new collection of dinghy clothing and equipment including buoyancy aids, drysuits, spray tops, luggage and a brand new range of technical dinghy footwear. Drop by the Banks Sails stand (B11) for a range of sails, trapeze harnesses and dinghy covers in PVC and cotton polyester.

For all those visitors interested in new boats, check out one of the many class associations who will be proudly exhibiting their latest models, such as the British Moth Class (CF3) with a brand new British Moth from John Claridge, or the Cornish Crabbers (C11) who are displaying the new Cornish Crabber 12 which premiered at the beginning of the year.

Over on stand D4, the Fireball class are celebrating their 50th anniversary, so pay a visit to their stand where the new class-owned Fireball will be on display. Join the team for a slice of birthday cake (Saturday at 17:00) and find out how you could win the opportunity to sail their new boat for a year.

Visit the Gul Watersports (C56) who will be unveiling a range of exciting new products exclusively at the show and don’t miss the chance to meet British Surfing Champion Mark Egor Harris who will be on the stand on Saturday morning at 11:00.

From the latest sailing gear to activity holidays, there are plenty of prizes up for grabs from the many exhibitors’ competitions and prize draws taking place throughout the weekend. Safeena Sailing (stand D16) are running a free prize draw throughout the show to win a week’s yacht charter in Turkey whilst Rigiflex are offering clubs who order 30 tickets or more for the show, the chance to win a Rigiflex safety boat complete with Suzuki 9.9hp outboard and trailer.

And that’s just for starters!
