Crewsaver prides itself on its thorough research and development system, which results in producing products that sailors really want to wear. The new neoprene performance sailing footwear range aims to meet all demands from gentle cruising to high-performance dinghy and keelboat racing.

Basalt and Zircon Boot

For those looking for the ultimate dinghy hiking boot, that offers both performance and protection, the Basalt and Zircon are the ideal options to consider.

Although both are constructed using 5mm Neoprene, with reinforced hike and heel area protection and moulded high grip sole, the Basalt has been specifically designed with drysuit users in mind. For easy entry, the opening is at the front and the strap is secured with non-snag Velcro to ensure a snug yet comfortable fit close to the latex drysuit sock.

The Zircon has all the same quality features as the Basalt including the extremely high grip, water dispersing soles, and soft lining and flatlock seams, but instead has a more traditional side zip entry.

Igneous Boot and Granite Shoe

The Igneous Boot and Granite Shoe are designed for use on high performance, adrenalin powered, skiff-style racing dinghies. Both feature high grip, water dispersing soles, soft lining and flatlock seams for added comfort, but each have specific uses.

The Igneous Boot, constructed using 5mm Neoprene, is a pull-on-design with reinforced front hiking support, as well as heel, arch and toe support/protection. To ensure a secure fit, there is a Velcro front strap and, for easy entry, the top of the boot is lined with lycra binding.

The Granite Shoe is for a similar high performance market but aimed at highly active crews at the front end of the boat. The pull-on shoe is constructed of 3mm Neoprene, and the moulded high grip sole is lighter, and more flexible which gives the impression of feeling like a second skin. Shockcord pull adjustment, neatly tucked away under the entry flap, provides a really snug and secure bespoke fit.
