We are delighted to announce that for the first time, Sunsail’s new flagship catamaran, the revolutionary Sunsail 444 will make its UK debut at the 2011 Southampton Boat Show.
Sunsail will initially introduce the outstanding Sunsail 444 catamarans for the 2011 sailing season in the Mediterranean from their bases across Croatia, Greece and Turkey, with more to arrive in the Caribbean for the 2011/12 winter season. The Sunsail 444 is also available for ownership through the Sunsail Yacht Partnership Programme.
Simon Conder, Sunsail Head of Marketing said “We are really pleased to be able to give UK customers the opportunity to see our latest addition to the Charter and Flotilla fleet, this is a completely revolutionary catamaran and is something that we have been working on for a long time with our customers and Robinson and Caine to complete. For those looking to purchase a yacht, the 444 is also available through the Sunsail Ownership Programme, so whether you’re visiting the Southampton Boat Show and looking to buy or holiday, we would highly recommend anyone who has the chance to come and visit the boat on the Marina at berth M038. “
The 444 comes fully equipped with air-conditioning, onboard generator, electric windlass and all the latest navigation technology from Raymarine. She handles superbly under power and under sail, the 444 is unlike sailing any normal catamaran, with her deep narrow groove hulls and shallow draft, she is able to sail as close to the wind as many a monohull.
The most noticeable feature which really makes a difference to this catamaran and in fact any other yacht offered by other charter companies, is the forward cockpit. With a walk through from the main saloon, the forward cockpit comprises of a folding table and covered seating which allows for even more room for a relaxing sunset cocktail or two, as well as providing cooling breezes into the saloon and aft cockpit.
