Saturday Autumn Series Race 4: (16th October)

A bright sunny afternoon with a NE breeze of about 15 knots greeted a good fleet of 19 X Boats.

The first mark was Black Rock, off Yarmouth, with a flooding tide. The fleet split with some taking the direct course and others keeping out of the main tide until Colten, which proved to be the winning course with Ado Jardine in Lucrezia being first round. There was then a beat back to Tanners with several wind shits where Ado continued to hold his lead and through the next windward/leeward legs to finish at the Royal Lymington Yacht Club Platform.
