This was held over the August Bank Holiday weekend in testing wind conditions.

Race 1 on the Sunday morning started in a force 4/5 westerly against the flood tide causing a bumpy ride. Together with stronger gusts coupled with a general increase in wind strength 6 of the 9 starters retired due to various difficulties. The 3 remaining boats finished as 1st 1516 Dusty Miller/Alan Barnstable, 2nd 1563 Henry/Chris Richards and 3rd Rod/Jenny Brown-Lee.

With the wind in the ascendancy there was no appetite for the afternoon scheduled race.

Sunday was promised to be a little kinder wind wise and in a northerly direction causing a smoother ride. The remaing fit boats and crew managed 2 races without major incident after a delayed start allowing some moderation in conditions. Henry and Chris winning race 2 and 1574 Dave/Ian Hearsum coming 2nd. Dusty/Alan finished 3rd and then decided to drop out of the last race which gave the reverse results in 1st and 2nd place with 1544 Kevin/Hayden Edwins in 3rd.

Of the 10 boats entered only 2 managed to finish all 3 races sailed, these were 1563 Henry/Chris Richards and 1573 Rod/Jenny Brown-Lee, well done.
