Mirror Europeans at Sligo Yacht Club - Day 4

With a steady 10 - 12 knots of breeze, day four of the 2010 Mirror Europeans got underway with Race 9 of the 12 race series. Ross Kearney (IRL), crewed by Max O'Dell again sailed consistently all day to record results inside the top three. Moving into second place were Beth and Shauna Armstrong (IRL) of hosts Sligo Yacht Club, with results including a second and a fifth.
The top GBR boat in third overall is now Ed and Beth Grey (GBR), who also had two top five finishes to move above Nigel and Robert Thomas (GBR). Although the wind dropped slightly at the start of race 2, it remained reasonably consistent for the other races.
With the inclusion of the unsailed race from day 3 squeezed into today's race programme, the series is now up to date and with winds of circa. 24 knots forecast tomorrow there is still time for some major place changes in tomorrows racing.
