Enterprise Nationals at East Lothian Yacht Club - Day 2

Day 2 – The Championship has started!!

The Race Team were able to run 3 Races starting in light winds which steadily increased to Force 3. There was a strong tide against the light winds. Inshore competitors performed better in these conditions.

In Race 1 Phil Kirk sailed the middle of the course and took advantage of a port shift to extend his lead. Several competitors were caught by the tide when approaching the windward mark.

Race 2 Jonathan Woodward was the gate boat and kept inshore enjoying a 1st position for this race.

Race 3 Nick Craig and Tim Sadler improved their positions in this race and Nick Craig although not achieving a 1st is leading the Championship overall.
