Laser 5000 Europeans at Mohnesee, Germany - Preview

by Thomas Hill 23 Jul 2010 12:03 BST 2-6 August 2010

In a week’s time, many Laser 5000 crews from across Europe will be starting their travels to Mohnesee, Germany for the Laser 5000 European Championships.

The event is being run from the 2nd to 6th August. 12 races are scheduled over the week with a rest day to explore the area or just have a break from all the sailing. The association is also putting on a couple of social events throughout the week to get all the crews together, and with crews from Scotland, England, Germany and Poland expected it will certainly be a great event.

It’s not too late to join in. If you’re interested but don’t think you’ll be good enough, come over and spend a week with some of the top guys and you’ll surprised how much you’ll learn. Or if you’re stuck for crew and or a boat get in contact with Taff Owens through the website or forum.
