Laser 5000 Nationals at Lymington Town Sailing Club Preview

5000 crews from all over the UK are preparing their boats for the main UK event this weekend. Lymington Town Sailing Club are hosting the two days racing for the 5000 fleet, along with their regatta, the 4000s and the Stratos events.

Many crews are attending that made it to the training in May. With the fresh advice and practice between the events, it's possible there could be some upset at the top of the fleet with many new crews making their way south. All will be racing for the title of National Champion and with Northampton Sailboats supplying two Magic Marine Harnesses for the top place and newcomer prizes, this title is one to make the trip for.

So if you have a 5000 come down and join in a great weekends racing. Watch out for race reports over the weekend and see what you're missing out on.
