K1 single-handed keelboat at the Datchet On-the-Water Show

by Zoe Handley 22 Apr 2010 15:03 BST 24-25 April 2010

There will be a chance to try the exciting new K1 single-handed keelboat at the Datchet ‘On-the-Water’ Show this weekend, 24th/25th April.

The K1 single-handed performance keelboat combines speed, style and ease of sailing. It has a lifting keel with bulb weighing 60kg yet with its light hull construction and carbon/Mylar rig its all-up weight is little more than a conventional single-handed dinghy.

The result is a boat that is an absolute joy to sail and guaranteed to provide effortless fast sailing and close tactical racing.

The K1 is now in production with 15 boats on order and demonstrations sails will be available at Datchet Water, near Heathrow, this weekend followed by further demonstration days around the UK.

Information is available at www.K1sailing.com or contact Vandercraft 01404 891 913 or 07971 404 617.
