Thirty seven crews from across Europe enjoyed 3 races in ideal F3 to 4 conditions on the first day of the 30th anniversary championships. At the end of the day, current world champions, Nigel Skudder and Keith Hills top the leaderboard, just ahead of their old rivals Lisa Buddemeier and Matthais Duwel.

With more wind forecast, the heavier crews are now eagerly anticipating the next four races on Tuesday, and the prospect of a ‘Big Wednesday’
