The Fotoboat team has been strengthened through the recent arrival of Oxford-based Andy Haynes. Andy is a dinghy and powerboat instructor whose interest in photography started through video coaching while teaching dinghy racing courses. He is a member of Datchet Water Sailing Club, and is currently looking for an RS800 to race. His sailing experience ranges from RS600s to sail-training yachts.
Andy is currently studying in Oxford and covers student and other events in the local area. His non-sailing images are available from Richer Sea Photography.
Mike Rice, Fotoboat’s founder said ‘I am very pleased to welcome Andy to the team. The arrival of another excellent photographer will increase the depth and breadth of our coverage of dinghy sailing events around the country. As you will see from the Fotoboat programme we are going to be very busy this Summer, so Andy has joined at a good time. He has already completed his first Fotoboat assignment, last weekend’s RS Open at Lymington Town SC, and you can see the results on the Fotoboat site.’
