How to get dry sailing kit every day

When you are at a long sailing event, there are enough aches and pains to cope with without thinking about the ultimate pain of putting on wet sailing kit!
I am not suggesting you buy two sets of kit - far from it - we think you will just have to buy the right kit to keep you warm and positive throughout your competition. Having slept in my van in many car parks over the years and struggled to get my sailing kit dry for the next day, I am now relived that we have sailing kit that I can put on each day with confidence whatever the weather:
How: The secret is the fabrics we have chosen for the job. The skin side of our 'hot' fabric is really quick drying, turned inside out, my hot legs will be dry and ready to wear within hours. I can bear soggy hikers once my toastie hot legs are on. I also find that Poly Pro fabric is much more cosy than hot top fabric - and so I wear it next to my skin on my top half in preference to the hot top. But even after use, I can wash it out in the shower after sailing, give it a little wring and in ambient conditions and it will be dry enough to wear next day, unlike normal Lycra layers. The amazing drying properties of Poly Pro can be explained by looking at the atomic structure of water and how it is attracted to most fabrics. Fortunately for Poly Pro, water is just not interested in hanging around which is why it is so good at wicking the moisture away from the skin leaving you warm and cosy. Once I have my Poly Pro Top on - I can face whatever the weather is going to throw at me. Some of our customers have said that once they have put a poly pro on their kids - they just can't get it off them - whether they are sailing, playing rugby or lounging around at home.
