Omega Xenon Open at Fishers Green Sailing Club

by Paul Davis 17 Apr 2009 13:47 BST 11 April 2009

The first Omega Xenon open was held at Fishers Green SC in a light breeze. The first race was dominated by locals Nicola Knight and Jonny Bear in their Omega who led virtually from the start with Paul Doyle (HCYC) easily taking second place from Paul Davis Gunfleet SC.

Race 2 was much the same with Nicola again getting ahead after the first lap to take the win. Paul Davis managed to get clear of Paul Doyle to take 2nd.

Race 3 was much closer at the front with Paul Davis and Nicola Knight changing places several times before Nicola got ahead for the win. Paul Davis came in 2nd with Paul Doyle taking 3rd place.

The next Open will be on the 2nd & 3rd May at Hertford County Yacht Club.
