Topper Open at Great Moor Sailing Club

Great Moor Sailing Club hosted the first Topper Open Meeting of the Eastern Region 2009 Travellers’ Series. 22 boats competed in near perfect conditions; sun and a good force 3 to 4.

There was some very close racing throughout the fleet with most positions not being settled until the final race.

Overall Results:

1st G Meredith (Grafham Water SC)
2nd G Page (Dabchicks SC)
3rd A Holmen (Hollowell SC)
1st Lady, E Southwell (Stewartby Water Sports Club)

First club in this neck of the Thames to hold a regatta during COVID The turnout for Minima's 2020 Regatta was good with 22 sails, bearing in mind that many double-handers are off the water due to social distancing. Topper Regional Open at Draycote Water
