Tacktick will be launching a new low cost, entry level wireless wind mn30 at the London Boat Show in January 2009 in response to consumer demand.

Everybody loves Tacktick’s wireless electronics but not everybody needs the sophistication of the mn100 Micronet Wind system hence the launch of this new entry-level basic wind mn30.

This new mn30 wind system is ideal for sailing or power cruising yachts 35ft and under, whether replacing an existing system or installing for the first time. Wind speed and direction information is delivered wirelessly from the wind transmitter, whilst the display itself is powered by the boat’s 12v battery. With no wires to run down the mast installation is quick and efficient and makes this an ideal replacement for broken wind systems.

The new mn30 wind system gives true and apparent wind speed and direction (true wind requires boat speed) in a large clear analogue display with backlighting for night sailing.

The new mn30 retails at £399.95 making it an affordable solution for both replacement wind systems and first time installations.

Tacktick remain world leaders in wireless electronics with their extensive range of innovative solar powered electronics covering dinghies, sports boats, cruising and racing yachts through to superyachts. With over 12 years experience and significant numbers of boat owners and boat builders appreciating the freedom and flexibility of no wires as well as proven reliability, the easy choice is Tacktick.
