Last chance to enter this weekend! We have 40+ boats lined up already. Please post your forms in ASAP, and email last year in a gusty 15-18 knot breeze that made for a unique up-close spectator experience.

This is a great opportunity to showcase your class for free in possibly the most well-spectated dinghy race in the country. The format allows for two entries per class with a team prize for their combined scores, currently held by the Phantom class. With numerous youth classes in attendance there is also an under 18 trophy, currently held by Hugh Brayshaw.

To enter your class please liaise with your class secretary as to who else is also racing; numbers are limited to two per class. Each entrant receives three free passes to the show for themselves and supporters, and a memento trophy from the race. Download the Notice of Race and entry form (PDF) - post forms to Lorraine Harrington, Yachting Press Ltd, 196 Eastern Esplanade, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, SS1 3AB.
Deadline for entries is 22nd December.
National Boats Shows will allow a select few entrants to receive FREE showcase space (non-commercial) along the dockside for the last weekend of the show (subject to availability). Another great publicity opportunity for your class!

The prizegiving will be on the main stage of the Boat Show at 4.30pm, make sure you are there! (Please note that by entering you agree to the start time handicap published in advance, which have been carefully developed from the past few years experiences of racing on the enclosed dock.)

Come along and cheer on your class representative. This year there will be live webcams following the action on the water, plenty of great viewing areas, a full race commentary from Richard Parslow and footage beamed onto the big screen on the main stage.

Yachts & Yachting has arranged a special ticket deal of two adults for £20 for a special ‘Class Pass’ over the last weekend (Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th January 2009). This also includes free admission for two children under the age of 15 with every paying adult – an offer you won’t want to miss...

Take advantage of this exclusive Yachts & Yachting offer and book your tickets now by calling 0844 209 0333 or log onto www.londonboatshow.com and quote ‘YT1’ (terms and conditions apply – see the website for full details).
