Laser Pico Open at Thorpe Bay Yacht Club - Preview

by Shaun Christian 6 Jun 2007 08:00 BST 16-17 June 2007

On the 16th & 17th June Thorpe Bay Yacht Club are hosting their second Laser Pico Open and a warm welcome is extended to all Pico owners.

Picos can be sailed either single-handed with mainsail only or two-up with mainsail and jib. Adult/cadet or cadet/cadet combinations are permitted, this will be a great event not to be missed.

Entry forms and race instructions can be downloaded from the club website.

TBYC has fantastic facilities and the entry fee includes a meal on the Saturday evening. Parents and friends can enjoy watching the racing from the clubhouse with great dining and a licensed bar or with tea and coffee served from the Bosun's Hut on the beach.

This will be a fun event so if you are new to sailing and want to experience what an open meeting is all about TBYC is the place to be.

We look forward to seeing you on the water.
