Overcast conditions with light winds greeted 13 sailors for the 1st Midland Topper Traveller of June. Previous years winner Andrew Audley (44729) returned along with other familiar circuit racers.

The first race began with Ogston sailor Kathryn Bradley (44880) leading to the 1st mark followed by Rebecca Dawkes (44722) and Audley. A good race ensued but Audley's superior roll tacking in light winds was the difference as he fought his way to victory by 2.1/2 marks from Heather Starling (41818) and Kathryn Bradley.

Race 2 was closer with Audley having to defend his lead from Seonaid Fleming (44849) but he held on to win with Heather Starling in 3rd.

Race 3 was again won by Audley but he was pushed by Kathryn Bradley through the whole race with Heather Starling finishing 3rd. Audley thanked the Committe of SVSC for the event.

Overall Results:

1st Andrew Audley Redditch SC (44729)
2nd Heather Starling Shustoke SC (41818)
3rd Kathryn Bradley Ogston SC (44880)
