  • Close 4 way fight for lead in Racer/Cruiser II Class bewteen "SPLASH TANGO" (7 pts), "TEMPTRESS"(9 pts), "AIN'T MISBEHAVIN" (14 pts) and "SAGA" (15 pts).
  • Sayonara wins 3 in a row in Big Boat Class.
  • Antigua & Barbuda Broadcasting Services launches extensive coverage of ASW 2000 with first of 5 live TV News broadcasts from Nelson's Dockyard.
  • Race ends back at Falmouth Harbour.
