Farr 40's Get a Grab at Boss Hogs Crystal

Hogs Breath Race Week Race Manager and Intergalactic Marketing Manager, Miles Wood, has offered competitors in the spectacular Farr 40 One
Design Series an opportunity to compete for a Farr 40 class specific Hogs Breath Race Week Crystal Trophy for the first time in the 12 year history of
the Whitsunday regatta.

The class specific event, to be incorporated into this years 12th Annual Hogs Breath Race Week between August 10th & 16th 2001, is conditional on the
race organisers receiving six or more entries from Farr 40 owners.

Wood says many of the Farr 40 owners/skippers who compete in the Hamilton Island Race Week, scheduled for the week immediately after Hogs Race
Week, could benefit from participating in one of the largest yachting regatta's held in the tropical North Queensland resort town of Airlie Beach.
'Having the opportunity to sweep out the cobwebs and fine tune your boat before the start of Hamilton Island Race Week without having to spend a
fortune has to appeal to any skipper'.

'We've got a great arrangement with Abel Point Marina offering owners and skippers a 20% discount on the week's mooring fees plus the first
night for free - that brings the total week's mooring fee for a 40 footer in at under $150. Combine that with an entry fee of only $180 and two of our
World famous Hogs Breath Prime Rib meals thrown in for free, it certainly shouldn't break the bank to be part of this great event'.

'If we receive six or more entries from Farr 40 owners we will also grant the class a separate start along with allocating trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd
positions. This is in addition to our daily 'trophies' for all classes', Wood added. ' Five or less entries from Farr 40's will automatically guarantee those
entrants inclusion in the IR2000 or IMS Divisions'

The quality fields combined with the unique on and off water activities offered by Hogs Breath Race Week have established the regatta as one of the
premier race events on the international sailing calendar. Last years Hogs Breath Race Week injected approximately $600,000 directly into the
economy of the Whitsundays mainland 'capital' as well as attracting national and international exposure for one of the World's premier blue water
sailing regions.

Now incorporating the annual National Championships for the sleek Bashford Sydney 38's, Hogs Breath Race Week has already attracted an impressive
field of championship contenders.

Race Manager Wood also paid tribute to the skilled on course services provided during race week by the Whitsunday Sailing Club. 'The
professionalism of the services provided by the organising authority, the Whitsunday Sailing Club, also contributes to the popularity of our Race Week.
The club provides everything from handicappers and time keepers through to the on water support craft and understands the requirements of providing
an international standard support staff'.

Accommodation for skippers and crew can be easily accessed in Airlie Beach, the resort town offering everything from five star international resorts
right through to backpacker style budget accommodation.

This years Notice of Race and a unique on-line entry form is currently available on the Hogs Breath Cafe (Australia) internet site
(http://www.hogsbreath.com.au) or by contacting Miles Wood at Hogs Breath direct on (07) 4946 5444 or by e-mail at bosshog@hogsbreath.com.au
