Pineapple Cup results Bonkers

by Keith Taylor on 12 Feb 2001
Bill Zartler's J/130 Bonkers is the overall winner of the Pineapple Cup - Montego Bay Race. Zartler received the Governor General's Trophy at the awards ceremony at the Montego Bay Yacht Club. Zartler's 42-foot sloop also won the Robert Buhrer Memorial Trophy for the smallest boat to finish.

We wrongly reported yesterday that Joe Dockery's Carrera was the overall
winner. Carrera won the Silver Seahorse Trophy for first place in the IMS
Division. We apologize for the error.

The full awards list and detailed results of this year's event are available
from Race Coordinator Felix Hunter, Montego Bay Yacht Club, Tel:

The complete package
A thriving clubhouse leads to higher racing attendance, and visa versa I'm a great believer in starting things on the right foot. Be that in the morning, going for a run (even though it was damn chilly this morning) to set yourself up for the day, or preparing ahead for a meeting so that you've got the figures to hand.
